Privacy Policy

1. Core Privacy Philosophy

At rosythepigeon, we believe the best way to safeguard your personal data is simply not to collect it. We do not require customer account creation, email addresses, or passwords to personalize your invitation templates.

2. Zero Customer Persistence

All text you enter into a template—such as honoree names, ceremony dates, event venues, and RSVP details—exists strictly in volatile browser memory during your active editing session.

  • We do not write your customized text to databases, persistent disks, or external services.
  • We do not store your customized design in browser cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB.
  • Closing or refreshing your browser tab clears your entered text and resets the template back to designer defaults.

3. Customer-Uploaded Photographs & Deletion Policy

When a design allows photo placement, you may upload an image (JPEG, PNG, WebP) directly into the fixed frame.

  • Client-side rendering: For PNG exports, rendering occurs entirely within your browser canvas; no photo is sent to our servers.
  • Server-side PDF generation: When requesting a high-resolution PDF, your cropped photo is sent temporarily to our application server strictly to render your requested document.
  • Immediate Deletion: As soon as the PDF document is compiled and delivered to your browser, temporary files are immediately unlinked and removed.
  • Automated Cleanup: An automated background process purges any abandoned or incomplete uploads older than 30 minutes.

4. Hosting & Infrastructure Backups

Our web application is hosted with Hostinger. Like all standard hosting providers, Hostinger maintains automated daily server and system backups for disaster recovery and operational continuity.

While live temporary customer files are deleted immediately after export or via automated cleanup, historical server backups retained by our hosting provider rotate and expire automatically according to standard retention schedules.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party behavioral trackers. The only cookies utilized are strictly necessary security session cookies reserved for authenticated administrative staff accessing the backend management dashboard.
